Clerical

Community Resource Centers

During a Public Safety Power Shutoff, Fire DAWG’s Mobile CRCs provide the public with information, water & ice, Wi-Fi, and charging stations. CRC packages can be customized for specific locations and situations. Both tent and trailer setups are available.

Packages are fully customizable and can include:

- Tent/trailer and generators
- 5-ton A/C and/or heaters
- Tables and chairs
- Light tower
- Solar Variable Traffic Message Board

Long-Term Fire Retardant

Fire DAWG provides a retardant-spraying service for utility poles.  We utilize Phos-Chek's Long-Term Fire Retardant which is fully qualified by the USFS.


Equipment and personnel are available:
- 4X4 ATVs with pump units
- Water tenders with application apparatus
- NWCG fireline qualified personnel

Poles can be rapidly treated in the event of a fire, or pre-treated in advance to fire season or prescribed burns.

Mobile Testing Centers

Fire DAWG - with our team of physicians, nurses and EMTs - offers Mobile COVID-19 Testing Units capable of both antigen and PCR testing.

Our units include:

MASS FEVER SCREENING SYSTEM

The Sentry MK4 system allows for a smooth entry
into an incident while screening fire personnel
quickly and efficiently for elevated skin
temperatures above 100.4 °F.

​

Fire DAWG personnel will be present to operate the Sentry MK4 and will confidentially note any elevated temperatures, and immediately advise the appropriate incident medical personnel for further evaluation. 

​

GIS UNITS

Fire DAWG's GIS Units provide a mobile, self-contained mapping lab designed with four work stations, 1055 HP Plotters, high-speed 11X17 color copier/printer, high-speed satellite with VOIP capability, satellite TV, and desktop computers.

 

The desktops are loaded with the ESRI software suite, ARC GIS 9.1 and 9.2, ARC GIS Spatial Analyst, Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Office, and mapping tools.

COMMAND UNITS

Our Incident Command Units include: 
 

  • (3) computer work stations

  • Swivel chairs

  • IP telephone capabilities

  • Flatscreen TV with videoconferencing capabilities

  • Multiple ways to establish an Internet connection, including satellite 

  • Conference room

  • Dry erase board

  • Panasonic panaboard

  • 25 kW generator

  • On-board heating and cooling system

  • Outdoor lighting system

The unit has been outfitted to accommodate a multi-line phone bank to allow railroad, fire, rescue, law enforcement and medical personnel the ability to communicate in case cell phones and radio signals become jammed or out of range. The Mobile Command Center comes with two ICS qualified technicians to help with any documentation needs.
